The Aerolaser Handheld is inspired by nature, simulating a natural enemy in order to reclaim the airside territory from passing birds and prevent bird strikes. Birds perceive the approaching laser beam as a physical danger and fly away.

To make operation over long distances more accurate and safe, the Aerolaser Handheld is fitted with a red dot sight. The sight makes it possible for a bird controller to accurately aim the Aerolaser Handheld at the desired target before activating the laser.

Various safety features allow the system to deter birds with no harm to the environments and humans.

To prevent unauthorized use of the equipment, the Aerolaser Handheld is equipped with a key lock system.
